Yes for the 1967 Camaro this is probably normal for a conversion.

I tell ya, I bet those L72 'Scaynes made some $JACK$ back in the day! I mean, being a plane jane big car you don't give it a second look, but in nearly every original road test from back in the day ran low 13s at anywhere from 105 to 108mph...and Casey's car is doing just that right out of the box! Maybe the REALLY surprising thing was it's weight, though...like 4200 pounds with Casey in the seat! I would have guessed 3900-4000 with Casey, but I was WAAAY off...
