I just got back from the NCRS Regional Meet in Rochester, Minnesota. There were many standout cars at this Regional since it is the last regional meet before the National Convention in Canada. The one car that stole the show was this L-88 Corvette. The owner is Dale Crosby - he found the car only months prior to the show after years of searching and hunting. Turns out he found the location of the car after the owner put it on E-Bay a number of years back. Although the car is originally silver, it is currently painted red. The drivetrain is completely original; the car has been sitting for 25 years. After Dale completes the construction of his 2600 square foot garage this car is going to receive a complete restoration. Enjoy the pictures guys! THANKS JEFF!

Dan do you have any pictures of when found in the barn??
was there not a thread on this car last year?? if I recall correctly it was in barn with some model A's and other stuff and had things piled all around it, but it seems like last year when it was listed on e bay, I may be thinking of another car, but how many L-88 barn finds are there???

I do not have any pictures of it found in the barn. There was a picture of it in the barn on the poster decribing the car. There were some Fords in the background I want to say a full size sedan and possibly a mid 50's T-Bird. The milage of the car is around 50-55 thousand. I know the car was found in the Mid-West but I have to double check my notes.

same car,I recall the e bay add, there was a broker listing the car for the family along with the other cars, the barn picture is probably looking at the driver front at a angle and you could see all the other stuff around it. there is a long thread on the history of the car on a Vette Forum, I read the darn thing but dont recall how I got there.

Dan,
What state does Dale live in? I have an old friend from school I've known since 3rd grade. He had a brother named Dale. I'm wondering if it's the same guy.

Thanks Dan. I don't think it's the same guy, but they share the same name.
