Interesting cars... the gold Camaro is an interesting look. One hell of an inventory of Vettes!

Pro Team is looking to buy/sell so called 'sheet-metal' cars because the Vette market is in the dumps lately.
According to them, anything you have is worth zero and everything they have is worth gold! Typical Vette dealers.
As has been said. "Buyer Beware"

That gold Camaro was in the Recycler for quite a while last year. I think the owner wanted something like $17000 for it then. At the time I thought the $17k was a little too steep! How times change.

hey guys i was just saying that proteam usually has half of the corvette & auto traders filled with cars, i have never delt with them. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif
ProTeam was at the Mecum/Bloomington auction buying Corvettes like crazy. The Corvette market is hotter than ever. ProTeam was bidding on one car that we had our eye on ('67 white/white roadster) and they said afterward that they had a buyer out of town and were going to get that car at any price. There was a long row of Corvettes that they bought. '67 Big Block Corvettes are spiking up again. The auction at Bloomington was bringing some amazing prices. I have mixed feelings about these skyrocketing prices but the Corvette market is definitely not soft.

Soft by no means! Pro Teams loves those 1967 Big Block Tri-Power cars. They have some basket case cars represented as originals and I would put money on it they get away with murder 95% of the time. I have heard too many horror stories that unfold in the garages of Pro-Team Corvettes.
I was looking at a 1966 Convertible 427/390 HP Vette in Mosport green on black a while ago and they said it has the ORIGINAL MOTOR but the numbers did not even match. The VIN plate numbers and the engine pad did not match. I could have understood if they called the car a "#'s car" even if the motor was not original (because that "numbers matching" term gets abused more than anything these days) but it threw me that they called the motor an original. It was absolutely an original motor -- but sure as hell not to that Corvette.
And isn't it ironic that EVERY Mid-Year Corvette they have magically has the original spare and jack?

They just sold my old 390 horse car for over $100,000. This was not even a tri-power car, but a very, very nice and rare car. Their add is very accurate and true in this case.
It is the original engine, trans, and rear with GM paperwork showing all of the listed options.

That seems to be steep ($110,000 for a 390 hp car) but I'll give that to them since it has a/c. Nice looking car. Too bad I am not a fan of 1967 http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It went to Sacramento last year at $90,000. Sold for just over $100,000 by Pro Team. Not a fan of '67's. Ouch.

they have been around quite a while. Terry Michelis (sp) started out with a small hi po shop in bloomington il, specialized in vettes. he bought my fathers 67 390hp air car in '82 and more than tripled his $ two years later.
