Ok i finally pulled the trigger...after a wasted trip to Fla to a sleaze bag dealership i returned home Weds nite and upon perusing the new ebay posts I spot a 1970 SS LS5 4pd M-22 bucket seat car that happened to be located 20 miles from me. Went to see the car the owner and i spent over an hr cruising while my wife and daughter waited patiently in the car (NOT!) i saw it...I drove it...I Loved it...i overpayed for it.....its only money i can make lots more http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif Soooo after hunting for 6 months looking at numerous camaros i end up with a chevelle lifes jess so wierd isnt it. I may post more pics later when i feel up to you guys ripping the car to shreads http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif

Got me beat, at least is on the road and you can drive it. My 68's are far from that. Maybe with luck sometime before my kids get their Lisc to drive, I might get them done. I need to run a body shop so I can get it done after hours and on the weekends with no interuptions!!!
Again nice looking ride and congrats on a find so close to home.

Nice looking car. But he still has the auction running so if you gave him money for the car you better make sure he stops the auction.

Well Ed, I switched from Camaro to Chevelle four years ago. It's actually nice to be able to have some room to put STUFF in the trunk http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
There is one major flaw with this car though - it doesn't have a set of MY Ontario plates on it http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Congratulations and good find, have fun with it http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

FrankieC,
Looks like a nice car, great color combo! It appears you have some documentation already, but with it being a Canadian built car, you can contact Vintage Vehicle Services in Canada and they can absolutely, positively document it for you http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Have fun with it, nothing wrong with a black Chevelle with white stripes http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Thank you all for the well wishes and now all my questions will be chevelle oriented http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/scholar.gif
I talked to the dealer in tarpon springs 3 or 4 times i just didnt get a very good feeling on the phone nothing i can put my finger on just bad vibes. the dealer i went to see was in Mt Dora www.classicdreamcars.com (http://www.classicdreamcars.com) the Z he had was a nice car 1 floor pan was replaced both rear quarters but a very nice frame off job he had the stripes recently painted on and there was overspray on both windshield posts which i thought was rather slip shod the car had a 4:56 rear which made for a terrible ride and the motor and tranny were supposedly fresh rebuilds but something didnt quite feel right in the drivetrain a vibration that shouldnt be there but i kept my doubts to myself and politely told Mr Bogard that the car was not for me. Followed up with an email thanking him for his time ect. He responded with an extremely nasty email about how i wasted his time and how anyone that takes the time to fly to FL to see his cars buys them cuz hes such an honest guy and then proceeded to tell me how any car i would find in NY would be nothing but a "Bondo Bucket" I dont think i have ever been so insulted in my entire life.
So that was my experience flying to Florida to see a Z.
Thanks again everyone
