Didn't that Ford Drag Team Mustang just sell at a recent Barrett-Jackson auction? Love those old drag cars.

Yep, that's the Drag Team Mustang that sold...I think Charley said that it went for something in the low 40K range and was a bit rough around the gills.
That Chadwick Camaro F/C was new to me. Love the oddball rear wheelwell placement.
Great post.
Thought I had a colored shot-- http://www.yenko.net/attachments/90299-chadwick.jpg

What about the white 69 Camaro it looks like it could be a X44 copo? It has the bowtie rear emblem and a cowl hood.
Anyone know?

copo9566aa is right on the money. SS/D is where the 427 (COPO) cars played, and SS/A is where the Hurst Hemis play, and still play. In fact, they are the only cars running (read: don't get factored) in NHRA SS/A today. BAD TO THE BONE... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

Danny Wooldridge from Springdale, Arkansas is the guy who posted those awesome photos. He's a regular on the Team Chevelle site, and he's a great guy http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Don't you just love the Funny Car pictures, where it was absolutely unmistakable as to what kind of car it was? Try to figure out what any of them are supposed to be today http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif And how about those Pro Stocks - they almost look like they could have just been driven in off the street. Way http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif Thanks Danny http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif

It's a painted bow-tie logo with "CHEVY" in the center. The complete slogan says "Chevy is the difference."
The other info that I can make out in the original photo is the owner/driver name on the door. It reads "Tom Garrett's" "Tribulation". "427 CI" is painted below the Camaro emblem on the front. I'm having trouble making out the name of the town on the rear quarter, though. Need a jeweler's glass I guess. It looks like "Newoosite, Okla" but that can't be right. Mapquest and Google return no matches. I'm sure of Ne???site.....I think. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
Also....there is a chrome trim strip rocker molding on this car. Did COPOs have those?

Correction to above.......the Owner of the car is Tom Garrett. It's painted in the white strip of the door above "Tom Garrett's Tribulation".
Got to be the same owner as the Jim Hayter ZL1 mentioned above.
