I wonder if that kid has a garage in which to keep his new $150,000 Chip Foose Skylark? I'd like to see that car in five years. If he's smart he'll sell it before it gets stolen/damaged/vandalized and buy three mid-60s Impalas, one for himself and one each for his two brothers.

I wonder if there's any stipulations or papers they have to sign in regards to selling it or showing it or something to that effect.

That's a good point. Of all these new shows, I like MTV's "Pimp my ride" the best, just because its all good vibes, and there's no mean joke forced on the owners. Foose's aesthetic is much more my taste, however.

But I've also wondered, when "Pimp..." finishes one of these rigs, can the kids even afford to insure them, much less keep them safe. I'll bet most of those cars are broken into or stolen by now. It's hard to keep the thieves away after you put FIVE video screens and $3K worth of rims and tires into a car, you know? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
