396 402 stock bore 272# casting 2 bolt main B B Chevy
This is a stock bore, J Q coded block from a 1969 Chevy .
For Camaro, chevelle and nova ,It needs to be re freshed, it is in good condition out of a running police car.
Purchased as a spare block and is taking up space.
The heads are also oval port stock heads and are
Matching to the block, so if your looking to build
A BB camaro or chevelle and want the correct 396
For your car. This is the one engine that was rated
With the HP of 265, 300, 325, 350 and 360 hp by Chevy.
Don’t forget this was also offered with that Central Office
Production Ordered cars, don’t think they only came with 427’s
COPO cars came with many different combinations of engines.
Also the dealer did quite a bit of swapping of emblems and parts too!
