Can anyone use a '68 Oldsmobile "Type-O" 12 bolt posi rear? Axle tube code TO, original 3.91 gears, complete from backing plate to backing plate, rusty and grimy, but 100% unmolested. It needs a good home. PM me if interested.

This 68-70 (not sure which year as I've never had it open to count axle splines) Oldsmobile "Type O" 12 bolt POSI rear is still available. It's coded TO and retains it's original 3.91 gears, perfect for that rare Olds missing it's original rear. Priced right at $650. Must be picked up in Ebensburg, PA or can be delivered to Fall Carlisle if paid for in advance, but sorry no crating or shipping is available. PM me if you can use this part, I'd love to see it find it's way into a fellow sYc member's Olds.

I'm in Dormont Ed, South Hills of Pittsburgh. The rear is at my Dad's place on Ebensburg/Loretto road. Your old stompin' grounds.

Good eye Casey, but those aren't from the Olds rear and also aren't included. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/Charley.gif
