Anyone looking for a nice YANKO clone? The seller can't make up his mind how he wants to spell it, Yanko, Yenco or Yenko. He uses all 3 versions. He also claims it is a real COPO car with the window sticker. The best I can figure is a YANKO must be the factory air conditioned version of a Yenko http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Yes - I do believe when you ordered an Yenko with air conditioning the "e" was changed to an "a" which stood for air condition.....Ha.. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif....there's no link to any car for sale....is this on ebay???...

I know a drummer named Yanko in my town. Maybe he's a famous muscle car builder and I never knew? He he. He might actually be helping me get my 67' RS Conv. cherried out. Then I can put a 427 in it and say it's a genuine 'Yanko' convertible! Whoohoo, big bucks!! :-)

I like the DUST blue paint does that mean that it was painted at Maaco? or Earl Schieb?

People these days think a stripe kit is all ya need to say you have a Yenko. I wish it was more difficult than that, it kinda saturates the market visually. So there is less POP when you see a real one. Unless its a full treatment clone, I wish they would vaporize. Respectfully, JMO.

Cripes...one would think that he could read the "yenko" off the side of his car and then spell it correctly in his add....WTH.... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
