Wow... just knowing how a "stock" GTO runs I can't imagine how much meaner these must be. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

OK, it's a Pontiac being offered by a famous Chevy dealer and it's bound to be really fast. So why, pray tell, does it have a Mopar HemiCuda shaker hood on it? -NJSteve

I feel that the new GTO's are a little too tame in their appearance but to me this GTO is too "ricey". I know it's got the performance to back up the looks but the shaker hood scoop looks too much like a JC Whitney add on. Not trying to offend anyone; it's just not my style. I guess that's why they make vanilla and chocolate.

I like the shaker setup. The things on the fenders reming me of a Buick though.

I would have to agree. They look too much like a cavalier with some mods and lean towards the ricer crowd. Now look at this sexy looking ride and you know what style is all about. Just drop that 600 hp mill in this and it will have you changing that GTO to a GTP in a hurry. This is my 40th Anniversary 2002 GTP that I use to get around in as my daily driver and winter beater.

One of these days I will get around to adding a few mods to this car just to see what it can do. You can get them running 13 seconds with a little work and I have seen these running as low as 11 seconds as well. Either way, it's a hell of a lot sexier than those GTO's are!

My daily driver 4-door does 13.20 at 105 and gets close to 1G on the 'pad (factory stock, as delivered, no mods). The kid's car seats are easier to put in with 4 doors. Oh, and snow on the ground is no problem, even with the factory 'race' tires. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

I got hooked on cold air packages a long time ago---this one does give the car some needed musclecar image --
