My buddy is restoring his '66 L72 Corvette and wants to know what the part number is for the flywheel and whether it's 10.5 or 11 inch.
Thanks in advance!

My book shows part #3988759 fits 66 thru 69 427 with manual transmission. It does not say what size it is.

I don't want to ad any confusion, just another possibility. My early GM parts book dated May 1, 1966 shows #3889694 for "PASS., CORVETTE (396, 427) (EXC. A.T.) solid type". My other GM parts book dated June 1978 shows "66-69 All (427) (exc. A.T.) #3998281". Maybe NCRS has one of those on the list. I noticed that flywheels are evil. GM parts group .666!
