There's not a lot of interest in fourth gens unfortunatley. The GMMG cars are awesome, but unless it's a phase III ZL1 or a signed Intimidator they are barely fetching sticker. This car reached 43k last time on ebay,I would guess that was close to window new.
I spent some time out in Grand Rapid back in May of this year and I visited Berger. I was surprised to see they still had several Berger SS Camaros on the lot including two or three convertibles. If I remember correctly they still had one of the Hot Rod demo cars. I would think you could pick one up pretty reasonably by now.

Oh great, another seller who gives you miles of great detail on the car and reiterates how rare and desirable it is, but can't even spell "Camaro" correctly.... Ugh! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif

It's a very cool Phase II 435hp car. Original sticker was in the $65k range.
Yes there are a couple of auto trans Hot Rod cars still at Berger and I believe the others you saw may be the cars purchased to build Dick Harrell "verts" but something about not being able to do the body panels for convertibles http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif.

Its hard to believe the 05 cars are already out and you can still buy "new" 02 Camaros.
