Very Nice!!!. I saw a picture of a concept camaro last year and it was butt ugly, this is much better. There's a lot of speculation that the new Camaro is not going to be made, but im sure they'll find a way, it's just to strong of a brand to give it up.

That's Kris Horton's drawing. He makes everything look bitchin. He is very talented. If they build it I hope they do the picture justice.

Its actually a 3D computer model of a drawing that was conceived by Chris Pauwels. There's been much talk about the new Camaro over at http://www.camaroz28.com and http://www.cheersandgears.com . The model was done up for a recent Popular Hot Rodding article on the new Camaro (or whatever what it will be called. See the story it is an interesting read > The Return of the Camaro in 2007 (http://www.popularhotrodding.com/features/0409phr_camaro/).)

The author, Guy McCoy, is a regular on both those websites. All that is known is GM is secretly developing a Chevy V8-RWD "Camaro-like" coupe which may be launched for 2007 or 2008 MY. What it will be called has not been announced. Futhermore, several people have said that the PHR "concepts" take on more of 1st gen feel than what insiders have told them. There is another similar drawing out there that looks more like a two-door version of the SS concept car, yet still meets all the basic critera.

The car will be developed in NA (US or Canada) and will be based on the Zeta chassis, which is also the base for the 2006 GTO. There will be other derivatives off of the Zeta platform, including possibly Buick. (nee Velite?)

well Chris is a talented dude then..I found it at a Big car site I visit and talk land yachts...To bad I was excited Chevy finally hired a talented team and a Manager that could pay attention to what the public has been asking for...I am sure GM's car will be nothing close to this beautiful rendering...somebody needs to slap GM up side the head a few times...like it would help, between the non cooperative help with the old records search and there lack of enthusiasm for the Camaro they are pretty much in reverse and not reading any of the forums on the net that discuss there products..a real shame almost feals like how Chrysler ran there bizz into the ground years ago.

Kris Horton did put a lot of work into the 3D model, much more than Chris Pauwels did on the original sketch. Kris H also does custom model renderings for project cars as well.

You can check out his work at http://www.carsbykris.com
