Cool photo from the October 1968 Popular Hot Rodding. No details, just the photo which I cropped for better detail. Looks like a '68 SS 396 with spoilers. Another testament to how good Cragars look. Who wouldn't love to find this car stashed away in some garage in southern California?

Yep, did you get my e-mail? I'm just hanging around the house with the wife and kids today and doing chores. I got into my old car mags and decided to share some of the great old photos here on the forum. I'm waiting for someone to give us an update on the SCR7 show going on this weekend.

In 1972 that car was located behind the southbound ARCO station ( now a flower store) on El Toro Road and the I-5 in El Toro, California. I owned the Shell station across the street from 1971 to 1979. In those days " Who wanted an old race car http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif". My 57 fuelie Vette racer was all I could afford at the time...........If we only knew.

I'll bet kids rode past on their bikes and threw rocks at "The Dana Camaro" while it sat neglected behind that gas station. I just lost my appetite... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
