1 of 4, auto, 3.90 gears. Wow, I didn't know they were worth that much! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Assuming the car is legitiment, I'll agree it's top of the line. But noway this:

[ QUOTE ]
This car ,is without argument , the rarest muscle car and GTO

[/ QUOTE ]

That's a marketing statement without argument. The 4 speeds have always been more desirable, 71 Judge rags more so than 70, then I would say 69 over 70 next.

If it's not a rebody, I'd take it all the same. Just not for that much, I don't have that kinda bank.

I've e-mailed Anthony a few times -- in fact, we both went to U. of South FLA, just a few years apart -- but his Custom Classics GTO operation gets top dollar on these restos.
We were supposed to meet up at GTOAA Nationals in Pontiac in July, but I missed him and forgot to take his cell phone #.

I'd like to know where he locates all these cars.

Maybe Goatfinder magazine?

In any case, he's making a good living at it.

He definetley has a nice selection of GTOs to choose from there. I think that White (supposed to be green)1970 Judge ragtop with the green stripes looks neat. Like the Red 1967 ragtop, too. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

This guy has been discussed at length on the Pontiac sites. For starters, the car is now 300 grand more than from a few months ago. His responses to people's requests have been conceited and rude (although I don't know how rude the questions were.) Also, this car does not have the original block. Due to the wonders of the Net and people who have been in the hobby for years, more than a few know about the whereabouts of the engine for this car.

Not the original motor?

This is from his page:
[ QUOTE ]
Every # matches(distributer, motor, heads, carb, trans, rear,in take, more) complete and original to build sheet

[/ QUOTE ]

He does leave room for an out in the way he worded it, that doesn't make it nice though if your story is correct.

I love the way dealers and semi-scrupulous sellers creatively word their statements. "Every number matches"..."VIN on engine block", ...etc. If I was going to buy a car of that caliber I would ask the specific question: Does it have its original engine? If the answer is more than one word (either yes or no) then they are just feeding you a line of masculine bovine fecal material.

I know somebody who sold him a non numbers matching raiv judge and when he sold it,the original motor was in the car. I still think the new owner is not aware of this. Id stay away from him!! There are lots of stories!!!!!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif

Don, this car was sold out of the POCI smoke signals back in 97 out of central Pa. The orig. mtr was long gone, had SR. Unless some resurected it, the owner told me it was gone. It is a rare car, not worth what a stick is.Not sure on #s, as 7 autos known, book says 6 made. My thoughts are the 12 in book for sticks, might be a little low. Got to love the marketing attempt here, though. Your guidelines on him would be accurate. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif
