Translates roughly as: Trenete Motors. They had a Caddy CTS, a full size Suburban, etc. but no performance cars.

Then about two blocks away I passed this http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif
http://www.yenko.net/attachments/98851-Moscow%20Camaro%2003.jpg
I was feeling a little hungover (excellent Russian beer and a three hour time change) so I had to rub my eyes a few times to believe it. I was late for a meeting literally around the corner, so I couldn't stop. Luckily after about 30 mins of meeting the client wanted a 15 min. break. I hightailed back were I had seen the Camaro and it was still there. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
By the way the ad on the sign next to the car is selling some drink called Adrenaline Rush. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif

Check out the funky graphics and Euro headlights - totally clear. Z-28 stripes on a big block SS car...

Last shot. Day 2 car for sure. Traction bars, skinnies up front, B&M style shifter on the console, a wierd glitter style wheel with a big flat aluminum center plate and a big old modern 10k tach on the column. Black basic guts but a light blue wheel. Interior was in great shape. Exterior was a strange color kind of halfway between LeMans and Dusk blue. Couldn't get near enough to see the VIN. Almost got killed crossing the street and the guy that's half in the screen was looking at me a bit weirdly. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I tried to check out the web address that's on the quarter, but it's mostly about old VWs, Mercs and 1930s cars. You can't see it but there's a price on the roof in big white vinyl letters.
Any guesses how much they want for it? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Nobody around. I thought about leaving my business card, but that might be a one way ticket to a kidnapping or extortion. Russia's deep in Wild West mode at the moment. I thought about it hard though, until I saw the price on the roof...
How much were they asking?

Jeff- As a self proclaimed beer conoisseur. I have had various Russian imports in the states and none of them were worth remembering. I am surprised to hear of good beer in Russia. Possibly a long shot but do you remember what you were drinking?

I wondered what was on the roof. It looks like 85,000 with two more characters at the end. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

You got it. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif 85,000$ is how it's written on the roof. Anybody want to start a muscle car export business? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

There is a beer from St. Petersburg called Nevskoe Classic (pronounced: "nev sko yer") that is very drinkable. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
Only 45 rubles. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
