Bud Rice car. Hmmmm I wonder since this was taken in Phoenix, and Indy champ Buddy Rice is from Phoenix, are they related somehow? I don't think Buddy Rice was born yet when this picture was taken.
Notice the Super Chevy photog!

Daytona Yellow RS/SS 396 CONVERTIBLE. He pulled it under the grandstands... out of the microburst.
I want this car! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

A 'done right' Pro Street 55 Chevy. I wouldn't mind having this car, either! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Rear Shot of the 55! Aren't those the Centerline Convo(or some name like that?) wheels on this car. It was "just right".

Why the heck did I take this picture? Or more appropriately, why are these unknown people in my picture of the Yenko Camaro?
It's kind of a Day 2 look on the Yenko, circa 1986!
It's too funny that the 2 people in this picture are dressed the same!

I don't know who they are, but it looks like they both have NNN T-shirts on. Where's their Nova?

IMO, nothing looks better than a '67 396 Camaro with those menacing crossed flags on the fender. The 396 (and 427) Turbo Jet emblem has got to be one of the all-time greatest emblem designs.

Jeez, 1986 huh? Man, that was EIGHTEEN YEARS AGO. Bruce, I'll bet you could have bought that Daytona Yellow '69 SS convertible for around 10-12K, maybe 15 tops?, and you would have thought that was a lot of money for that car.

Way to go Bill...Bring up the age thing again! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif
The 427 convertible Impala SS that was there was for sale for around 10k.
Though...If you ever want to sell your Camaro...and were interested in taking payments(over a 10 year period), you know where a good home would be!) http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

Xplant, my friend now owns this car, only now it is much worse for the wear, I will post a now pic of this car. It is currently under restoration. Also, I went to school with Randy Boyce, whose dad and sons ran the Boyce Boys Vega. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
On second examination, this is not the earlier posted car. M y friends car has a black hockey stick stripe and vinyl top and the other car does not. Hmmmm what is the coincidence 2 yellow/yellow ss/rs 396 cars in the same city?

wow...that does look like my car..except for the white hockey stripes instead of black..and mine has black top..close though!
