View Full Version : 69 Yenko Camaro Replica for Sale

We listed a 69 Yenko Camaro Clone on E-bay...item # 2490047570.
It contained erroneous information that was just discovered by us....it was sold to us as a 427/450hp when in reality it is a 454 block, casting number 3999289.
We have amended our description, but the new info is kinda hidden waaaaaay down at the bottom.
All other info is accurate, and the car is beautiful.
We have 100 pictures on E-bay, please take a look.
We were hoping to get around 49,000 for this car, but will sell it for 39,900 or best offer.
If anyone here has bid on this car, please e-mail direct at
[email protected] and I will cancel your bid if requested.
Sorry for the confusion this may have caused.

No disrespect but if your hoping for 49 and will sell for 39, no one will give you 49 when 39 will do. Good luck with the sale.

We were hoping to get 49k when we thought it was the 427 in it....when we discovered it was a 454, we amended our price.
Thanx for the advice, though.

I looked at some of the pics, what makes it a 'replica'?

Here is the link to the auction. Seller doesn't have very good feedback.

If you read the whole listing, the "Seller" is not affiliated with us....another reason we are considering pulling the listing and not using him anymore.
We have never listed on E-bay before, and thought that he was doing us a favor, but he is not.
We are a small dealership located in Port Huron, Mi. called Diamond Motors. Are reputation here is rock-solid, and having just ventured into internet sales, I feel we may have picked the wrong person to help us.
We will probably be ending the relationship, and begin doing the listings ourselves, once we learn the ins and outs.

All you have to do is end the aucton and then relist it with who ever you feel would do it right. I am sure there are many on here that would give you a hand.
Type all the text on a word document and then paste it into your ad when you post it again. letting this go on if you are not happy with it only reflects back on you. Stop it and do it right. You will not be sorry.
BTW: Both of my Baldwin Motion Vettes (the real things not clones) came from a Diamond Motors. Only it was/is in Dallas Tx.

Thank you VERY much for the advice....I just got done meeting with Ed, and we decided to pull the car and relist it.
I would REALLY appreciate any help I could get, as this would be our first venture listing a vehicle, and I want to start and maintain a good reputation from the beginning.
Thanx in advance,
Ken

Ed and Ken.. Ebay is very easy to do. The main thing is to have the pics you want to use stored somewhere on your computer. Not on top of the computer but digital pics in your computer. Then go to Ebay and click on "sell" and go from there. You will not have to list it until the very end of the process and by then you will know if you got it right. Pretty simple once you get the hang of it. Send me a PM if you get stuck.
