The owner of the Olds offered the car to a local dealer before listing the W-30 on Ebay.He wanted $25k,and the dealer offered $23k.

I'm so used to seeing all the Scam alerts, it's great to see a correctly represented car and an honest seller. He is even answering questions and updating his auction with more info as people request it!
It's that Genuine seller Communication that is making this auction more attractive to bidders.Although this Car stands on it's own,If I was an Oldsmoblie man,I would pay more for this as well.
Here's to that seller. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Compared to a top of the line LS6 Chevelle I think that was a very fair price. Nice car.

You are absolutely right and just think that the local dealership wouldn't give him the $25,000.00 that he originally wanted. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I'm sure, for the seller, that it will be upsetting to watch "Dad's Car" be driven or trailered away from his house. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Just becouse E-Bay says it sold for that dosent nessasarly mean thats what he got for it. The way e-bay acts you never know what's going on. I'll wait and see a real bill of sale.

With 177 positive feedbacks I doubt that the buyer stiffs........

I was told who the buyer is and he has bought some of the highest dollar muscle cars out there so I don't think he will stiff the seller.
