#69 = HO, M22, w/ Black Standard interior from Huebner Chev. in Ohio. Apparently, this car received a Replacement Title in April of 2003, and the car is 'active' with 8,000 actual miles.

Last I heard, the car was undergoing an extensive restoration. The car still resides in Ohio.

Unless your grandpa was 50+ years old when he bought that Camaro, you're makin' me feel real old here, mikes http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

it was #20 thought it was #18 for awhile but did my research and learned otherwise its a neat story he actually gave the dealer a bank check and loaded it in his semi and brought it home from pa sold it in 1986 and it was in the junkyard 2 days later some kids wrapped it around a tree but at the tender age of 11 i took most likely all the mpney i had to my name at the time and bought it back totalled only thing salvagable was its heart and it sits in my shop today cant really bring myself to put it in a car ,and bill he was 41yr old in 1969 if my math is correct so not that old but close and age is just a number old timer j/k http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Mike...cool story..can you share some pics of you and Grandpa with the car..we really like vintage pic's around here...

p.s. I can relate with your story of riding around with Pop's...I have a neat Uncle and he would toss me in the passenger seat and go for rides in his cars in the late 60's.. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Maybe someday the #65 and #69 Zl-1's will meet again as they are OHIO Natives and I am sure they met at the christmas tree a few times. If only these cars could talk!!!!
