After dip dilemma….

I am about to take my L78 car to Redi Strip and have it dipped. This Is
my first time having one dipped to remove all of the NASTY. The car has
a lot of surface rust and undercoating on it so I decided to go this route.
My problem is I am looking for a way to recoat the inside of the rockers
and inside the Cowl Area. This procedure removes all traces of rust but
it also removes the sealer and factory coating from the hard to get areas.
I don’t know of anyplace that has a 1000 gallon Vat of primer to dip the
car in afterwards. Does anyone know of some sort of LONG Paint wand
paint gun system I could rent of buy. I vaguely remember rust preventer
that they used to drill holes and stuff a wand in and spray some sort of
rust inhibiter into the rockers and other hard to get to areas. Any help or
ideas are much appreciated…..

Just watched "Rides" last night where they were building Joe Rogan's 'Cuda. Troy Trepanier had the car powder coated. Maybe this is an option for those tough to reach areas?
BTW: the 'Cuda came out amazing. Like that's a big surprise when you have Chip Foose and Troy Trepanier involved.

Where are you getting the car dipped? I would like to get my 56 dipped but have not found anyone nearby to do it. I am in Chester County, PA.

You should look for a place that can both dip the car than e-coat it afterwards. I know there is a place in MI, but there must be others as well. There have been several lengthy threads on this subject in the past.

I plan on taking my 69 to Allentown too. A friend of mine recently had his 69 done. Came out fine. Another method is to pour paint in the rockers and rotate the car on a rotisserie.

Kevin the Rust Fighter looks like it may get the job done,
getting this car dipped is going to save me sooo much time
and labor not to mention the fact that the car will be done
right, When the dealer undercoated this car they put it on
real thick and they put it everywhere. The time saved removing
all of that under coating alone is worth the price…
