I was told that these (http://groups.msn.com/ChevysinSoutheastPennsylvania/centercaps.msnw) center caps might be for a 1970 Z/28 Camaro. I'm sure someone here will know for sure.

Those are not correct for the 1970 Z28. The 1970 Z28 caps look like these...

The original (not replacement) caps have a raised bowtie verses the repo which is a flat bowtie. Hope this helps.

Thank you.

Is there an online database of center caps so that I might be able to figure out what they are for?

I believe those are Vega GT center caps, but I am not positive.

Is there a part number on them you can relay?

The part number on the "chrome" part seems to be covered by the "fingers" that would hold it onto the wheel. Not the best description. I'll take a better look at them this weekend. Thanks to everyone for your interest and responses.
