Not a common sight back in the seventies. Two Superbirds running against each other.

The black one is a factory Hemi car. It is undergoing a complete restoration back to stock, with wing, special nose and all. The dealers had a hard time selling these odd looking cars. So after a while they could order new roadrunner frontends at a good price, to be able to sell the cars. That special rearwindow wasn´t altered though.
This car has been authenticated by Galen Govier.

Nick, here is another classic Swedish streetracer. Lars-Inge driving his "closet"-Chevelle. Picture is taken in Stockholm, I assume.

That is an excellent picture! So much can be said about it. I don't know where to begin. First, there's daylight under the Chevelle's driver's tire! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Look at the black 73 Charger on the trailer in the background. Gotta love all those Swedish Streetracing Hooligans. NJSteve

Autoshop was once a Swedish company, but Lennart Bergqvist and his wife Birgitta moved to Orlando Florida. They are still building engines for record holders.

That black 70 is Sweeeeeeet! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif Love the stance and the big meats. Must have used air shocks for lift, I dont see any long shackles. 1970 was the pinnacle for the Road Runner IMO.

Sam, Anders "Bostic" Envall is a pro when it comes to pictures, films etc. He has won numerous awards making promotion films for big Swedish companys like IKEA and Volvo.
