Baltimore Plant Closure

It's official. GM is closing the Baltimore plant in 2005 at the end of the Astro van production for the year. We need a reunion there before the place closes. Both of our Chevelles were built at that plant. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Where are they moving production to ?

They build Astro vans there and this is the last year for them. Sales aren't very good either. They were looking at something like $800 million to refurbish the plant for another vehicle. The auto business is a tough place to be these days. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
