I hate wiring ! Can someone give me an idea where the TCS lead breaks out of the main harness and heads for the front of the intake manifold? Now that I’ve got all these parts reinstalled, the same ones that 35 years ago we immediately removed upon purchase, I’d like to be able to plug it in and make it work.

Get a '70 Chevelle Shop manual and read the schematic that is usually in the back. perhaps someone on here has one that they could scan for you? All I have is for Vettes.

A 70 Chevelle assembly manual will show all of the wiring diagrams including many of the RPOS. It will also show where each wire (or connector) is landed. If your car has original and/or correct repop wiring, its not hard to trace. Match color-to-color wires and use a simple 12 volt test light to cofirm voltage is to the component in question.

It was still there when I last checked, although I was told it embarrassed a Phase III '02 ZL-1 over the week-end while I was in Chicago! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif Maybe I'd better check to see if it was returned in one piece! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

No Mr. Cumby you have it all wrong. A Phase III embarrased a certain LS-6 that was attempting to take a hibernation. What a car and can that woman drive!!!! Now if we can just figure out where the front end vibration is coming from at 140 mph!!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Wow Mr Cumby!!!!!!!!! I am impressed a man of your age can still dream! This time I have to agree with Rick, Muffin smoked your ole LS-6 but I must say she gave us a run for our money! Sorry you weren't there to see your sweet girl smoking her tires and chasing my bad '02 'round town!!!! Bet that is the last time you tell Nelson where you hide the keys!!!!!!!!! Hey,you can't complain....we brought her back in one piece and when we tucked her in, she was smiling from quater panel to quarter panel!

Hey there kid! Glad to see your power is back on!!! Hopefully you have warmed up to operating temperature by now. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Remember to double check the line lock and take the battery out of Muffin. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Upon checking the Chevelle last night I found the problem. She was running on five cylinders. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif No wonder she had trouble keeping up with that "Little Small Block" under the hood of your Cute Little "Muffin"!!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

And BTW...... why in God's name would you call a 600 HP Camaro MUFFIN!!!!!!!! That's embarrasing to ANY car! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Thanks Dennis,

The photos are outstanding and exactly what I needed. I need only now to block out some time to actually play with the car again. I'm starting to get a little bored with these 63-64 Impalas I've been working on. I guess I could pour a couple of gallons of the good stuff in the tank, at least they'd smell better. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Thanks again, Regards, ...SWB...
