Sun's out today after a long period of gray skies. Went out to the garage and checked the fluids on the '67, cranked it up, backed it out, warmed it up, and shot a few pictures.

Fed it at the Shell station on fresh 92-octane. ($2.01/gal, by the way.)

Took it out on the open highway for about 30 miles and got her good and hot. This is what I call a "therapy session." For me, not the car! Ahhhhhh, I feel better.

End of session. Time to put her away, hot and happy. Oh, I am so relaxed after a nice long cruise in my '67.

Here's the 'plant. L35, MZ code (CA smog Th-400). At least 107,000 on the old dog but still runs well (when kept tuned). Yep, smog's long gone. Note pipe plugs in the manifold.

Bruce, you and I are truly "birds of a feather." I love to look at those hood grilles when I'm driving my '67.

We have just the opposite weather conditions on the other side of Washington State. No sun, snow on the ground, and very cold temps at night. Won't be able to get out one of my 69's until March or April.

Very cool car. That green stuff on the ground - what is that? If we want green stuff on the ground we paint the rocks green!!!

Is'nt it cool just how much a ride in a hotrod can cheer you up. The great unwashed don't know what they're missing.

When I was a kid I came across a Corvette ad in an old magazine. It's a 1962 ad showing a guy and his wife driving through a city on his way home from work. The ad is titled: "Twice a day he takes a vacation." Hit the nail right on the head with that ad.

Thanks for the compliments on my BY '67. Sun's out again today, crystal clear, 35 degrees. Looks like Camaro weather. Or "realtor weather," as I call it here in rainy-all-the-time Seattle.
