For what he is asking and the money he put in to it you would think he could have at least put on correct dated and stamped parts.
The power booster is a reproduction. No stampings or numbers on the tag.
The master cylinder is repop as well. No bleeders.
No cowl seal. No RS headlight pump or hoses. etc, etc..
Big bucks for a clone.

I remember this car as a built clone. Built by some guy in Kentucky with initials JJ. These clones always end up being sold as "possibly real" http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Here's the car from Kentucky built by JJ. As you can see, it was NOT originally an RS car. Buyers beware.

Also, JJ likes to sell cloned RS cars as well. Here's another one of his clones on Camaros.net. Ask him if it's a real RS car.

I am 90% sure this car just sold this weekend at the Kruse auction here in Ft Lauderdale. I checked the Kruse web site to verify the sale but they have not posted results as of now.

Is the car originally being a L89 being questioned or having the RS package?

The way I read it, neither option (RS or L89) came on this car originally. Its a cool looking car, just not what it appears to be.
