Wasn't the Fugitive Corvette wheelstander also run with a Tank body as 'Hell on Wheels' ? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif

I think that may just be the same chasis and Engine. They were both Bob Perry's.

I don't think you can get the wheels any further off the ground than this without it getting scary.. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You are correct that they were both Bob Perry's but they were two entirely different cars/Tanks.

Not on that run though, the next was much scarier.
Came down sideways, crossed the lane, destroyed frt end inside & out. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

On a good note, it was the 1st Nitrous Radial car in the 7's. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

i was also at that race in bradenton and that was about the biggest wheelstand ive ever seen!!! what was really amazing was doing it on radials, notice he still has the very long stock single ladder type bar, which has to stay to run a stock suspension class, the longer the bar the better, i watched the car for a couple of runs the next one was even wilder he had the front end in the air out past the 330 ft clocks, the car sounded like it had some serious cubes when i heard it in the burnout area, also it sounded like it had titanium valves by the exhaust note while idleing. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

Yeah, it's a wild piece alright.
