Gobi Beige is an excellent color! I remember years ago the owner of Ausley's Chevelle Parts owned a 1970 Gobi Beige LS-6 Chevelle. It may have been a 10,000 mile survivor car. My memory isn't the best!I'm talking about 15 to 20 years ago. At the time he also had a low mileage Cranberry Red LS-6 Chevelle. Both cars used to be on the cover of his catalog.

Actually your memory is pretty good. I think the mileage was actually less then 10m. I do have the article at home. I think the cover was a red 70 Chevelle and the issue was related to how to decifer numbers.

Here's an Ausley Catalog---------- http://www.yenko.net/attachments/120458-Scan0012.jpg
I think if I'm not mistaken the car had 5200-5400 miles and was an automatic, bucket seat car. I think it also had power windowns and was a Baltimore car built in the spring of 1970.

That is way cool!! I think my car was on the cover of npd from what Nick told me but I never saw it. Anyone know if that is true? Sean http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Joe,
You are incredible. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif You have a ton of memorabilia and literature. Obviously, you're very organized and are able to locate this stuff fairly easily. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
I wish---you just happened to ask for the right catalog--- http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
