Nice Car. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
I noticed the "T" is upside down & under the Cowl tag.
Is that unusual?

any idea on the VIN for the car? Also I like the 1978 Z1R Turbo Kawasaki 1000 hes selling as well. Dont see many around and I would bet its a real one since its not rally a bike that one would clone

By no means am I an Expert.... but just pointing out another item that that seems "out of the ordinary"
It appears that the P and B stamped above the heater box are green and the T is orange(and also upside down).
I know they used these colors but have never seen them used in combination http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

The PTB's can be orange or green, and while most cars had all 3 the same color, I believe its possible for them to be mixed and matched... as for the upside down T, you'll see the letters stamped in every direction, and in various spots on each side of the firewall. Looks like a killer car to me!

The stamps used were square printer blocks, very easy to have it upside down and not know it til you hit the firewall with it... I have an address stamp and do this on an envelope at least once a week. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
...nice "comfort weave" delux interior too http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

One theroy I have heard discussed on Camaros.net is that the difference between the orange and green might have indicated a quality issue that needed to be addressed at the end of the line. Some have suggested that orange might have been the flag that the particular "P","B" or "T" needed attention. Seems reasonable but only the people who lived it would know. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif

Different color, different shift?

As far as I recall, the different colors related to which shift did the inspection, orange for day and green for night. My Z11 had its "T" in the same exact spot under the cowl tag, though right side up. It had its "P" and "B" behind the a/c box.

If both doors were painted, maybe the car was lettered-up at one time(?).

My understanding is that it was listed in the wrong category, so ebay removed it. The car is to be relisted on ebay tonight and is still for sale. That would be a nice one to certify through Vintage...
