Amazing find, and only 10 miles from me. I wonder if it comes with an NOS set of VIN stamps to make it numbers-matching!!!

Only if you have the one of one 1971 Z-28 with a 302. Cast date is Feb. '71 http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif Still a cool find.

That "1" can easily be made a "9" http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif I remember looking at a Z11 pace car with "original engine" in Arizona back in 2001. VIN stamped on the engine but when you looked at the casting date on the block it was blatently obvious it was a 1968 block with the lower portion of the number "8" chipped away to become a "9". Pitiful attempt and I ended up wating all those frequent flyer miles to look at it. At least I didnt buy it and waste all that $$$ http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Check out this guys e-Bay User ID.
Very similar to Caveat Emptor--a principle in commercial transactions: without a warranty the buyer takes the risk as to the condition of the property or goods (according to "Mr. Webster"). http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/scholar.gif
...or maybe the initials "CE" on the stamp pad. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
