1970 Monte Carlo
400 4 Bbl big block, TH400 Trans, 12 bolt 3:31 open rear, ralley wheels.
Code 58 Autumn Gold with tan vinyl top.
saddle bucket seat interior with console,
tilt wheel, factory AM radio. Dealer installed or after-market cruise control.
This is an early built 70 from LA plant, Car is from WA state the body is very solid...normal rust on bottom of fenders. ( have a very useable pair to go with car)
Engine trans and rear numbers check out (vin not stamped on front engine pad, but engine code stamp checks out as 70 monte/chevelle 330 hp, casting date of block correspnds to build date of car, as do trans and rear. I have no doubt that this engine is original to this car)
Engine appears to be rebuilt although I have no paperwork to confirm this. Car is a great candidate for restoration....
has super solid body and clean under-carriage
located in southern NJ.
$4,000 or B/O.

Sweeeet, the more I see of these monte's the more I like em.
Especially with that 402/400/12Bolt option.

Good Luck,

Rich

Did the old owner of this car work as a mechinic at Ed Eberts Auto Repair in Moorestown NJ? If so I knew him and this car 15 to 20 years ago. I think his name was Rich.

Thanks for the kind words guys http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

No, this car came from the Seattle area 2-3 years ago, and I bought it from a mechanic in Philly about 2 years ago.
