Does anyone know of any fullsize chevrolets from Baldwin Motion still around? I have seen some in magazine articles but never one for sale. We have a 68 impala ss427 convertible originally from Baldwin Chevrolet but it wasn't changed at Motion.

There is supposably a '68 427 Motion Impala here in Minnesota. I have seen it at the Muscle Car show but nothing to back it up. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Thats still a pretty dang cool ride! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif Also cool that it hasn't suddenly morphed into a "Baldwin-Motion" car. Got any pics?

Yes, here are some pictures. We have several ss427's.
Anyway, this one is loaded with options. It has been in the family since 1978 and is an original Long Island car. We brought it with us when we moved up to Maine. It actually had a 68 corvette 427 430 block in it when my father purchased it. It had the original trans and rear in it still. The original motor was in the trunk in a pool of oil but still in good shape.

Here is one more shot with the four together. We have since sold the green 69 and now have a yellow 68 ss427 fastback.

That is one bad mo-fo....Very cool piece. Were the hideaways added? They give the front end a neat look. I WILL own a big chevy one of these days...
Does that Beautiful Convert have the fiber optic Cobra eye over the rear seat?
That piece alone will bring some good money...if it was for sale. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

Cool Car. Thought hide-aways were Caprice-only in '68.

Looks like covered grandstands to me, and you can see the letters "END" on the track wall...so, I'd say Beech Bend in Bowling Green would be a darn good gues...http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
