engine codes for marine motors

...saw a 427 motor ( 1968 ) with a code of "BJ" on the front pad....4bolt main motor...
Is there anywhere that list the codes for "Marine Motors"

this is the casting number ... 3955270.
this is on the front pad....T1207BJ.
The casting date is I 4 8 (September 4, 1968).

whats block casting and date. Also only BJ code i can find is
1981 BJ 305 LG4 H 150 4 Firebird/Omega

Ill check some other books after I get home tonight.

...would that be "Baldwin Performance"?
