So in the last week or so we have seen a copo chevelle,427 corvette, possible berger nova427, and others sell for pretty good money. There are also 3 motion vetes up for sale in the last month or so. they all are good cars and the right type. whats your take on the sale activity and the rarity of these cars all up for sale and most sold recently. wonder how many other rare cars are out there waiting for resurection sort like the berger nova that just sold it may end up to be the real deal. wish i could of had em all!! keep em alive and running !!!!!!!!!!!!http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

What makes you think the Berger Nova was even close to being the real deal? I thought it was confirmed that it was a 350 car originally?

berger would have used a base 350 ss and with the cars late year build date they would ahve used a 454 block with 427 parts as a dealer transplant. the large core radiator. whoever bought the car i guess will have to try to find some proof if they do its worth alot more than what it ended at. also look at kevins 73 nickey nova its almost a copy of the berger car.

Matt Berger didn't think they did any transplants in those Novas.

You mean the other way around. The "Berger" Nova is a COPY of Kevins Nickey Nova.

I think you all know what I meant they still are pretty similar. who knows its up to the new owner to prove it. copy is not the correct choice of words they kinda look alike. thats all. does any one know who bought it?

Looks like the *Berger* Nova is back on Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6172&item=45396067 79&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW#ebayphotohosting)...same pictures as the first auction, but in the post directly above this one you act like you don't know who bought it? Richard, did this car actually change hands or just usernames?? No biggie, just curious...http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

This is weird, now the listing for the Nova is no longer available on Ebay. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
