Was this L78/L89 car sold new by Harrell with a 496, or was it sold by another dealer and then converted by Harrell ?

Does Delmar have this car? I think I saw it in a super chevy from years ago.

Must be a COPO, look at the hood. I think it was punched out to 496 by DHPC, and sent to Texas where Delmar found it.

Super Chevy //May 89 part of an article on Delmar's Hayden Proffitt "62 Replica.

I do know where a hood with that same funky scoop is though. Might have to make a side trip on the next trip back to Illinois http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif anyone know how dh attached the scoop

If it's the scoop I'm thinking of (cast aluminum), there are tabs cast on the inside. It attaches with metal screws or studs from the underside of the hood.
