Quick question...I have been told by a friend that the original factory big block chevy hurst shifter brackets had 2 of the 3 tabs welded on them and that the repops have no welded tabs and all 3 of them are bent into position...I disagree with him on this and am looking for some input.
As always, any input is appreciated http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

My original bracket is stamped out of one piece of sheet. I will post some pics later.

Both original and repro brackets are one piece stamped. The original ones are very sharp bends on the tabs versus more rounded on the repro. The upper mounting bolt hole is also smaller on the repro and the adjusting nut is different. The repro is silver zinc plated where the original was dark manganese (spelling?).
