Wow, that's some pretty crusty stuff on that car. You can't even see out of the windshield!
Cool pics & car though.

Even with those Mid 70's Caprice front Bumper Gaurds, this car still appeals to me.
Give me a wrench & lets go to work...it must be Springtime. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Rick - I think the guards are the optional "high-rise" variety.

This car is in my area, and I've seen cars like this that have sat for a long time. Notice the rust on the inside of the pillar post. This car may have been damp inside for an extended period of time, which tends to really do a number on the interior stuff you can't see (eg, under the dash). You also gotta wonder about the seller, who states that there's a tach in the cluster, when in the photos there obviously isn't. Hard to trust his judgment that the car will clean up nicely.

Almost $15K, and the motor's is pieces and had a rod knock? There will be an easy $15K more spent on this car, and it still won't be a $30k car. A very steep premium for the privilege of buying a "barn find."

I think once you wash the owl crap off it you may find that it was the only thing holding it together. There is some nasty looking stuff going on with those quarters too....

Easy??? You have got to be kidding me!! $15k For a complete project... wow. Wonder how rusty the bottom is after sitting on that dirt floor for 20 years.

Just as a point of reference on where prices have gone in the last 5-6 years. Below is a picture of my 1970 Chevelle SS 396. I purchased this Chevelle 6 years ago for 12,000.00. It's unrestored, numbers matching, factory documented and looked just like the picture below when I brought it home.

OK, OK, I'll give you 12,500 for it, assuming it is still in the same condition, but you're killing me. When can I pick it up? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif
