Strats Car Show...May 15th

Chicago area muscle,

Last year we all spoke with Strat and asked him to move is opening car show from April 15th to May 15th. Strat responded and did so.

Inviting all to join us, we are expecting a big turn out. The show starts at 9:00a.m. on Sunday May 15th. So come early for a good spot.

I heard there will be a few very nice cars for sale at this show...so Bob bring your checkbook.

Looking forward to seeing everyone. Strats is located on North Ave in Villa Park, IL. just west of Villa Ave on the south side of the street.

Strats parking lot can hold 75 cars or so...last year the weather was bad, but it was also April 15th. This Sunday should be a great turn out.

I`m going to get there very early along with a few other sYc members...our goal is to take the entire front row without making any enemies of all others attending. Respecting all comers is what our hobby is all about. Again if you want a good spot get there early. Also bring a few lawn chairs, we`ll take a group photo as usual. Four good things happened today......(1) the old junk started ......(2) I didn't get stopped at the state line......(3) My wife gave me enough money for the tolls (both ways)..........and most importantly (4) I got to meet the "Yenko" guy's for the first time.......what a great group and show.......Thanks for the warm reception

If you want to wash a car...you need to be up at sunrise...5am 'ish' to prevent waterspots...

Well, you learn something every day. Trying to beat the rain home I ran into a downpour on RT83. First time for rain and the windshield wipers in 5 years. Guess what...the washer pump works great but didn't shut-off. Got more wet from the washer fluid than the rain!
