This time he's putting a reserve with a few strings attached, but the repaint and wheel/tire issues are addressed. Curious to see what it bids up to or what the reserve is.

I like the fact that he states "THE AUCTION LISTING HAS A COMPILATION PHOTO TO CONFIRM THEIR EXISTENCE" regarding the vast documentation available. Where'd it go? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Only two little pics to sell this car? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif

I have no negative comments to say about the Car. like he says, "It is what it is". a Documented COPO Camaro, with N.O.M. and the wrong Paint Color. Somebody eventually will want it. But the Brash attitude that exudes from the description tells a tale of a frustrated Owner who gives out way too much information. Thus creating Fodder for the Masses to Destroy any potential sales as the Car Has/will be picked apart on this and many other forums. at least that is what I get out of the whole thing. Best of Luck to the Seller and to the future Owner as well.

It would be a cool car to have.

I'd love to have a documented COPO some day. But from my point of view, the wrong color and NOM take a lot of value away from the car. Without seeing pictures or more details of the car their could be other items that take away from the value. Looks like it has 15x8 Rally wheels instead of the correct 15x7 (if double COPO).

This car was discussed a while ago.

The original discussion was 3 years ago.

It went from $180k to $170k to Ebay.
Somebody needs to step up and buy it. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Just not me. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

IMO the wrong color is the biggest draw back to this car. OG is a great color and you just don't see a whole lot of them. I think that someone painted this one Resale Red thinking that it would make it sell quicker, but instead it has made this car sit around longer.

It would be expensive to repaint and do it right. That would mean disassembly of the car. Then restore or freshen up anything else. Roger

Only 2 days left! One person bid the same amount 4 times, and the reserve has not been met.

[/ QUOTE ]That is because He actually Has placed a Higher Bid and when the 2nd Bidder Hit the item, ebay automaticly Raises your Bid to beat theirs until their Bid is Placed higher than yours.

Reserve not met. Wonder why he turned down $145K? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
BTW, I wonder why the VIN is not on COPO.com. The seller claims it's certified. Maybe he'll send Ed the check after it's sold. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

I know the seller of this car. Flakey at best. I sold him a numbers matching 69 Z28 frame on resto 2 years ago. It was promoted as a frame off. 13 months after taking delivery of the car he called me and wanted his money back claiming the engine had blown. Told me he would have me arrested for fraud...Yea right , in your dreams...or should I say in your Classic Dreams. I would say he's a little impulsive on the buying end of the business and didn't strike me as a guy that takes responsibility for his own actions. Always somebody else's fault.. Just MO. I would take a very close look at the car before laying out 145K+

Just because copo.com doesn't have the VIN doesn't mean the car is a fake. I know one COPO Chevelle that they don't have the numbers for. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
