I have that article too! There was another issue of that newspaper where they have a '67 RS Yenko Camaro in the showroom, looks to have sidepipes and to be B-yellow. I thought it might be the car that was at SCR7 (?).

i use to work at the i/8 mile strip at beardstown il and worked on the savage bros. 67 nova with an L-88 440. we got parts and help from Fred,Herb and Dick. after Dick was killed it was not quite the same. Dick and Arnie Beswick had a match race at the strip. i was talked into pulling Arnies car back to the pits with my Gold 67 GTO. i hope Arnie is getting better after his car fire at MAR.
Welcome.
Do you have a relative named Steve Southwell?
He was one smart SOB,who could drive.
I graduated with him in 1981 and he drove with us to US 30 in Indiana every couple of weekends.
