I was wondering the same thing. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif If you go to copo.com, the ebay the VIN is close to a hugger orange car sold out of Sport Chevrolet in Silver Spring, MD.

Real hard to tell what it was originally, but I suspect it wasn't a 427 car.......

What makes you suspect it wasn't a 427 car?

No engine size emblems on the front fenders but they could have been removed and filled when it was painted. It would be nice if the guy had some pictures of the engine compartment. If the car was a COPO, all the COPO stuff is long gone.
