I am looking to buy a matching numbers 1970 Chevelle SS 396. Looking for a restored car with some documentation. Not looking to spend more than 35000. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Carmen,

The car I mentioned to you is in town now. I will try to get over there today or tomorrow and get pictures. My friend drove it from Fallon, NV to Phoenix (approx. 600 miles) and had a blast. Car ran well and had no problems.

I didnt mean it to be rude, just maybe you need to lower your sights to a alittle more realistic level, thats all, Nice clones are bringin 25-30K now a days sir, a nice restored 70 SS car with paper work is goin to bring in the 40-60K range, sorry , no harm intended sir

Nick is correct, but what a sad state of affairs it is that one of the most popular and numerous musclecars is that expensive to buy now. $35-$40K. OUCH!!
