Quick question guys!

What is the correct dwell and timing for a 1969 Camaro Z28?

Thanks much!

And be sure and set your dwell first.

"Dwell effects timing, but timing does NOT effect dwell."

Why thank you gentlemen!
Now if I could only get the car to idle right... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif

You will probably want to have the advance curve set up for best performance. The factory curve, timing, and jetting had emissions in mind for sure. Our 427 had #68 jets in the primaries and had a lean surge at 60 mph. A good tuneup on a dyno is money well spent.
