I started digging around in my 69 Chevelle yesterday and located another partial buildsheet in the back of one of the front bucket seats. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gifIt's a real small piece (lower left hand corner) that only has the selling dealers name, address, etc..., but it is tall enough to show the L78 396 option on it.
That makes 3 partial sheets found, but none with the car's VIN on it. Would've been nice to get one with a partial VIN at least.
All of the sheets I've found are the same part of the buildsheet - 2 of the lower left corner and 1 of the whole left 1/3 of the sheet. Is there any ryhme or reason to this? Car was built at Framingham, MA.

Mine is an 04D and your sheets (pieces) look identical to mine. It almost appears that the sheets were torn or cut off? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
Very strange.

This is the one found in our -71 Le Mans. Also cut off.

What plant was that Pontiac built at?
That one looks to be a professional cut with a razor tool. Most likely when the trim shop was assembling the seat material, they inadvertently cut the buildsheet in the process.
I recall some Chevelle owners finding the exact samething on their cars.

Rick,
At the "G" plant. I´m sure you know where that is.

Interesting..I know of six 1969 Chevelles built at Framingham Mass.(G) Plant that have their Buildsheets cut in nearly the same identical fashion.
They stopped Chevelle production after the 1969 model year.

I'll try to post my sheet here. If I don't have any luck I may need some help.
