Dan, That's a NICE car with Exceptional Documentation. Making room for something else?

Just some items I missed in the original description:

The car has a build date of second to last week of production for 1966. Many parts are from 1967 such as the female seat belt clips, non-creased valve covers, and a missing spacer behind the fan clutch. All is original to the car, but not typical of 1966 production.

The car is also on e-bay. I will get a link tomorrow.

I would like to think this is making room for something else. But right now I have no plans to replace her. This is an exceptional Sting Ray that is in immaculate unrestored condition. Numerous detailed pictures can be seen via e-mail.

Dan,
Has the car been judged (NCRS or Bloomington)? If not , the new owner should have it done. Could bring 10k more....

The car has NEVER been shown. No NCRS, No Bloomington. It will receive a Bowtie or Survivor Judging award with NO problem.

Here is the e-bay link.

It probably means that it didn't come with the usual canvas folding top that hides behind the seat.

The list shows the optional hardtop as being there, so you either had nothing or that hard roof.

Don't get caught in the rain!

That's what I was thinking, pretty cool to see such a delete option though. Nice car, love that color.

Thanks for the compliments guys!
Its hard to sell this one!

A soft top was a standard equipment and the hard top was an added option. But when the soft was deleted from the car, the hardtop became standard equipment.

This car has a factory hard top with a dealer installed correct original soft top.

Beautiful car, love that color. The Bloomington auction is in late June if ebay doesn't do the trick.

Mosport, how strange. I just bought a car very similar to this. It is a red/red '66 with a red hardtop and 29,000 miles, window sticker, warranty plate, original paint and interior. It's also a 350 horse with N11 and some other nice options. I'm getting it ready for our NCRS Regional in October and the 2006 NCRS Nationals. It's never been judged.
I've never had a car with a newspaper add of the dealership with the original owner taking delivery of the car, this car came with the original add and picture naming the owner.

The price has been reduced to $70,000.
If it does not sell, NCRS judging will be considered.
