This 69 Camaro (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4549506157&rd=1&sspage name=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1) was the last restoration I did, back in 1996/97. It was a complete nut and bolt job with the majority of the work done in my garage. The "Gold Certification" was quite an honor for me, especially given the fact I did it up with a modified engine compartment.
I see the engine bay has now been returned to stock and the twelve bolt removed. Unfortunately the undercarriage has deteriorated since I sold it in 2000. Air conditioning was also added. I think I still have the original distributor for it hanging around here somewhere as I went with a Mallory unit.
Don't know if anybody is interested in it, but it was a top notch car when I redid it. The color is not exactly Lemans Blue, it has a little 'Teal" in it. The color got a lot of comments. Perhaps it's been repainted again, but I don't think so.
I'll post some pictures below from when I had it.

Nice Don !
Didn't you sell this to a Texas policeman?
Is he still the title holder,or has it moved onto another now?

Beautiful Camaro, Don http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
Note to auction photographer: Probably NOT a good idea to take undercarraige photos with piles of Oil-Dri all over the floor http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif

You are correct Rick. Two years later he sold it on Ebay. I emailed him at that time and he said "I only drove it twice in two years and the money is needed to build our new house". About a year after that I got an email out of the blue saying it was spotted at a Cruise Night in Georgia and the owner was going to return it to stock. It's now in Alabama I see.
Bill - he does provide a disclaimer about the oil dry, used for a different vehicle.

Don, I believe the email "out of the blue" was from me. This car has been in my area for a few years. I remember when I first saw it, the engine compartment was not stock. In a couple of the photos you can see that it still has a Georgia tag on the rear. It is from a neighboring county to me.
The dealer that is advertising the car is in Dothan, Alabama .

There's five in my "Photo Gallery" Bob if you want to use those. I think the others we used were undercarriage and trunk, if you want them let me know. In the past couple of months I've learned some more interesting history on my car which negates some of the stuff that was quoted in that feature. Not worth redoing at this point though.

Don,
How you/we do love that Lemans Blue. Nice resto on that Camaro. I`d be very interested in knowing what new findings you found on your Post Sedan Chevelle...is it listed under "The Blue Beast"? Please let me know or email me.
Thanks,
Dan.
