I saw that ad earlier today and I bet he's got quite a few emails and phone calls. The big question is if it's a real car or if it's a scam. If it's real, let's see who gets it!

I think I remember this from before. Just can't place where. If someone sends enough gas money I could go check it out. Or Howie could. I think he's closer. Cept you'd need to send him beer money, and I'll bet I'm a lot cheaper. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Absolutely nothing. I have a mapquest map to the guy's front door--and am ready to jump in the car but cannot get any response whatsoever. I will keep trying. My thought is that he was posting out his rear and knows that it will be found to be untrue (maybe if I call him out he will appear and let me look at the car?!).

A very good possibility. I have also tried to contact the owner, without any success.
I've emailed,telephoned,and had a local attempt also.
So far no Homo sapien has responded.

Which implies that you've had a response from something other than a Homo Sapien? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Just got back from looking at the 6cyl Yenko. Sellers a local deputy Sheriff in the area, also has a nice rotweiler(none homo sapien). Claims someone pulled a joke on him posting the car as a Yenko and has notified the sites to pull the ad.
All you Iowa guys were taking so long to look at the car the suspense was killing me. I guess you saved on some gas money.
Having fun,
Alex

What kind of crops do you grow on that Iowa farm anyway, Mr Mayor. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Sure, just because my hair's a little long, I'm a refugee from the 60's, and have a better grasp of old music than Belair, I get rolled in with those ole dope smokin hippies.
And being a politition adds to my credibility." I didn't inhale", "I did not have sex with that woman"' "there are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq".
Actually meth production in Ia. is around 1st, or 2nd in the US.A very serious problem considering how volatile, and dangerous the ingredients are. It makes answering fire calls in some parts of the district pretty freackin scary.
As to any unintentional feather ruffling in the above post, I apoligize.Funs not fun, at others expense. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

I think that's about the only category that Missouri leads the country in each year. It's a weekly thing to open the paper and read about a house literally blowing up from a lab gone bad...and you can tell a meth head the second you see one. Bad, bad stuff.
