Does anyone here have any information about an '87 Camaro, 20th Anniversary Edition? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif I have had one with very low mileage offered to me with front end damage. Any info you can offer regarding value, options, paint scheme, etc. would be greatly appreciated. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/scholar.gif

I have never heard of or seen a 20th anny edition Camaro. I don't believe there is such a thing. But now you have piqued my interest so I'm gonna have to do some research http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I saw one for sale at a gas station about a month ago. I noticed that the front air damn on the car is proan to cracking and leather interior is known for splitting. The Ann. Edition is White on Red correct? When taken care of, the "Iroc Camaro" body style cars are nice ones!

I think you are thinking of the 1992 25th anniversary cars, known as "Heritage Editions". They came in Red, white, black, or purple, and had stick-on 69 Z/28 style stripes. There was no special edition made for the 20th anniversary in 87... might have been a dealer add-on package or something, but GM never did anything special for 1987. I have all the original advertising and sales brochures for the Camaro and the Iroc-Z was the top dog Camaro that year, with the optional 5.7 Liter 350 TPI. No mention of any type of anniversary package at all.

As a side note, does anyone remember the "TEAM Camaro" from about that same time? I recall they were done by "Choo Choo Customs in TN, and consisted of some cheezy aftermarket ground effects and decals on an otherwise stock base-level camaro. Sort of the "poor man's Z28"... I remember a local dealer had dozens of 'em on the lot back then, and I can't recall the last time i saw one since.
