I would double check the Heater Delete since its a 70 and Heaters were a Federal Mandate after Jan 68 (unless an Export car). Sounds like a neat car though

These were Ford's answer to the Roadrunner and 300 Deluxe SS Chevelles. They were actually part of the mid size line and unrelated to the earlier small Falcons.

Cool looking car but I don't know about the " needs very little restoration to be perfect" comment.

If I recall correctly the '70 Falcon is a Torino with a post and the 429 SCJs are very rare. The Vin will tell you if it is a 429 car as well as if it is a Ram Air car. Kevin Marti should be able to provide the production numbers.

"An interesting event occured as the Falcon line was coming to an end. Production terminated entirely on January 1, 1970. For a brief time thereafter, the "1970 1/2" Falcon was offered. The 4-door and Station Wagon were re-badged Fairlanes, with Falcon specific chrome, but the 2-door was unique to the Falcon line. The Torino and Fairlane lineup had 2-door vehicles, but they were fastbacks and hardtops. The Falcon was the only one offered with a 2-door sedan (it has a b-pillar behind the driver door glass). The Falcon line did not offer fastbacks or hardtops. Interestingly enough, this '70 1/2 Falcon had seven engine choices up to an awesome 370 hp 429 cu in Cobra Jet Ram-Air V-8. The '70 1/2 Falcon was a stop gap measure to hold the market until the Maverick was ready for production. Thus ended the Falcon line.
1970 1/2 - Falcon Sedan: 2-door
Total Production: 26,071"

The CJ is coded C or J (the latter with Ram Air). If it's a SCJ, the engine code won't reflect it. The axle code will.
